The first Su-30 MK-1

SB-001, from the first batch of eight Su-30MK-1 aircraft {SB 001 to SB 008} delivered in March 1997 to the IAF's No 24 Squadron (Hawks), based at Lohegaon AFS. The 'MK-1' variant is not to be confused with the 'MKI' variant and is a Su-27K long range interceptor, a two-seat fighter derivative of the Su-27PU, which in turn is a two-seat fighter derivative of the Su-27UB trainer.
