Sqn Ldr Arora was killed at Halwara when an Unexploded bomb dropped by a B-57 the night before blew up when he was near it.

Sqn Ldr Samanta was carrying out a raid on Dhaka in a Hunter (BA-252) when he was shot down and Killed

Fg Off Khonde failed to return from a sortie on Dhaka in a Hunter (BA-266). He was presumably shot down by a F-86 Sabre.

Flt Lt Da Costa flew a sucessful mission against a train at Lal Munir Hat. However his Hunter (BA-295) was hit by ground fire and crashed.

Fg Off Muralidharan was No.2 in a Hunter attack on Peshawar. They were intercepted by F-86 Sabre and in the ensuing fight he was shot down.

Fg Off Sudhir Tyagi was attacking Murid airfield in a Hunter (A-490). He was shot down over the target by a F-86 Sabre, just after he himself shot down one.

Fg Offr Jayant Rishi was killed when his Su-7 tyre burst on takeoff at Adampur. The aircraft veered off the runway and was destroyed when the ordnance exploded.

Flt Lt H V Singh was returning after a mission from Risalawala airfield. On the return leg, his Sukhoi-7  (B-849) was bounced by a MiG-19 and shot down.

Flt Lt Apte was shot down while flying a HF-24 Marut (D-1193) over Nayachor. He was hit by bullets on ejection and was killed.

Flt Lt Sasoon was the pilot of a Canberra (IF-913) on a night mission to Sargodha. The Canberra was shot down by a Mirage III fighter killing both crew.

Flt Lt Advani was the Navigator of the Canberra (IF-913) shot down over Sargodha by a Mirage III. He was killed along with his pilot Flt Lt Sasoon.

Flt Lt Goswami was the pilot of Canberra (IF-899) shot down on the night of 4/5 December. His Navigator Flt Lt S C Mahajan was also killed

Flt Lt G S Rai led a mission to attack Sakesar Radar in W Pakistan. In this attack his Hunter (A-482) was shot down by a PAF MiG-19.

Fg Off Sudhir Tyagi was flying in a Hunter (A-488) as  No.2 to Flt Lt G S Rai. He was shot down by a PAF MiG-19 over Sakesar.

Sqn Ldr Mistry  was to attack Sakesar Radar in W Pakistan. After sucessfully destroying the radar, his Hunter (A-1014) was shot down by a PAF Mirage III.

Flt Lt Tambey was killed when his Sukhoi-7 (B-839)  was shot down by Anti Aircraft fire over Shorkot airfield. It was his third mission against the airfield in two days.

Flt Lt Sandal was the pilot of a Canberra (IF-923) on a night mission to Masroor airfield. The Canberra was shot down by Ground firekilling both crew.

Flt Lt Nanda was flying as Navigator in Canberra (IF-923) attacking Masroor near Karachi. Both him and his pilot Flt Lt Sandal were shotdown by Ground fire and killed.

Flt Lt Wahi's Sukhoi-7 (B-868) failed to return from a mission attacking ground targets in W Pakistan. He was presumably shot down by F-86 Sabres.
