This model was constructed out of the box using a 1/72 Scale Italeri Kit. The Dakota features the standard Indian Air Force Scheme of silver dope with black anti glare patch in front of the windshield. The Dakota is numbered HJ-209, which served with No.43 Squadron, 'Ibex' in the sixties. The scheme was made easier from the fact that there are a couple of color pictures available in the Bharat Rakshak Galleries. [b]Editors Note:[/b] Murli Rajan's model of a C-47 Dakota is the first one we have seen on the Internet. Heres hoping that more modellers will attempt the 'big birds'.
