HQ Training Command Flight

PM Ahuja was posted to HQ Training Command Flight at Bangalore in the late 60s. He is seen seated third from the left in the photo. HQ TC Flight was under the command of Sqn Ldr J P Singh (Seated Center). The Flight operated a lone Dakota, Devon and a Harvard (Seen in the background on the left). Seated 2nd from the right is Master Warrant Officer Arullappa Thomas, who was the only non-commissioned officer in the IAF to be awarded a Vir Chakra - for his role in the 1947-48 Kashmir War.
