HQ Central Air Command Communication Flight Location : Bamrauli (Allahabad) HQ CAC Comm Flt was formed at Bakshi Ka Talab as a detachment of 11 Sqn with a loan of one Dakota that was modified for VIP Comm duties. its initial crew was F/L Krishnaswamy OiC Flt, F/O TP Singh as Co-pilot and F/O BJ Siddiqi as Navigator. It moved to Bamrauli in July 1969 and was alloted one Avro aircraft. On 1 Nov 1981 it was made an independent unit. Its Primary duty is communication duties for the HQ.
