 Air Force Institute of Dental Sciences Location : Bengaluru Air Force Institute of Dental Sciences (AFIDS), Bangalore — a tertiary dental health care facility and para-dental training establishment. The centre offers general and specialist dental facilities including prosthodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and oral and maxillofacial surgery to entitled serving and retired armed forces personnel. It is also the tertiary care referral centre for specialist dental services for defence Unitss across south India. The institute also gives in-house training to medical assistants of the Air Force in various para-dental diploma courses.
