 No.106 Squadron Lynx Motto : Sarva Peshayami Date Raised : 1959-12-11 Location : Tezpur 106 SR Units was formed in May 1957 with the Photo recce version of the Canberra aircraft based at Agra. The Role of the squadron was to provide military aerial photography and aid with other civilian applications. On 11 Dec 1959, 106 SR Units was merged with 102 Survey Flight to make 106 SR Squadron. The squadron has participated in all wars and earned MVC in all the three wars of 1962, 1965 and 1971. In May 2007 the Squadron phased out the Canberra. it was numberplated in Dec 2013 and reraised in Jan 2014 on te Su-30 aircraft
