Details : | During the operations against Pakistan in December, 1971, Squadron Leader Krishnaswamy Chandra Shekhar was the Flight Commander of a Fighter Squadron. By sound planning, he ensured that all the Pilots of his Squadron were fully operational by day as well as by night. He carried out a number of Photographic missions deep into the enemy territory in unarmed aircraft and in heavily defended areas. Throughout, Squadron Leader Krishnaswamy Chandra Shekhar displayed courage, leadership and devotion to duty. | |||
