Leslie passed away on June 8, 2010 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in India, moved to England in 1955 and emigrated to Canada in 1965. Leslie is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Patricia, and by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews both in Canada and England. An RIAF fighter pilot in WWII and a long-time BC Hydro employee, Leslie was also an accomplished watercolour artist. Special thanks to the caring staff in the ARH tertiary care ward. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society greatly appreciated. |
