Details : Air Commodore Kishori Lal Yadav (16931) was commissioned in the Indian Air Force as an engineer in Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) branch on 08 Aug 1983. He has held the appointments of CTO at 815 SU and IAM and Station Commander, 820 SU. He was CTTO at HQ TC prior to assuming his present appointment as AOC, AF Station Jalahalli. He is an alumnus of DSSC and has earlier been commanded by the CAS in 1995. In his early years of service while working at Missile Squadrons, he used his innovative approach and skills to design and fabricate Azimuth Digital Display System in order to enhance operational preparedness of SAM-III Sqns. As CTO 'at IAM, modifications and innovative suggestions given by the officer not only resolved the problem of malfunctioning of OIS0, which had adversely affected pilots training, but have since been incorporated by the OEM. It was again his innovative approach which helped resolve the complex issue of power supply to HPHC at IAM. With his sheer initiative and innovative approach, he could resolve the long pending problem of heat management at UPS room at 820 SU and the innovation was circulated among other units under CAC for implementation. The flawless planning of core router and data centre infrastructure at 820 SU was perceived by him during his tenure as Co. As CTTO at HQ, TC he was the principle architect in formulation of Integrated Pattern of Training for abinitio trainees. As Air Officer Commanding, AF Stn Jalahalli,. he left no stone unturned in ensuring efficient of limited funds for work services, judicious use of scarce resources like water and electricity, effective sewage & sullage disposal system, provisioning of better amenities to improve the living standard of trainees and staff. He laid special emphasis on physical fitness and habit of being disciplined among trainees and staff. Provisioning and development of state of art training aids in adequate quantity has been his thrust area. These initiatives coupled with his innovative ways of delegation and team building have enabled the Stn to achieve almost 100% results and record number of LACs in REB(T) exams consistently. For his distinguished service of high order, Hon'ble President is pleased to award Vishisht Seva Medal to Air Commodore Kishori Lal Yadav.
