Air Chief Marshal S.P.Tyagi
PVSM AVSM VM ADC.
Chief of Air Staff, Indian Air Force

"I must compliment (the authors) for having bought out an excellent and unbiased study of the 1965 Air War. It is apparent that a tremendous amount of research has been made to bring out a factual and balanced account of the airwar. The detailed notes and cross references along with the first hand accounts lend credibility to the book and make interesting reading."

<Mr. Brian F, Hawaii>

"recently ordered your book and read it cover to cover. Excellant work, looking forward to the next one "

<Air Commodore (Retd) Sajad Haider, PAF>

<Mr.  Agarwal ,  India >

"I would like to congratulate you for publishing such a great Book. Your Book gives us the first hand picture of the 65 Air war and the men who fought.  It’s Truly Magnificent. .....  I wish you all the very best and I am waiting for your next Book on 1971 Air war"

<Mr. Davis ,  New Zealand  >

"The Air War book was excellent, with just the right amount of detail. I am mostly interested in the ground war but it can't compete with the air war for sheer excitement, which you captured very well. I was amazed at the amount of research that went into the book. You added so much more detail and colour to the events described. I have read dozens of books about the wars of the sub-continent and I can honestly say your book is one of the very best. Thanks again for an excellent book.

<Prof. Das , Baroda>

"....what a marvellous book. This book was late but when it came it made up for the delay by its quality. An excellent and unbiased study which adds to the value. This is how John Fricker should have written his book! ..."

<Dr. Sastry ,  Bangalore>

"....This is a super book and a landmark in the annals of the Historical record challenged Indian nation.  The best part about the book is that it makes easy reading. The descriptions of the scenes and battles took me right back to my childhood where I would have my heart racing reading the adventures of Biggles, a fictional World War I fighter pilot. And the book has pictures to boot - real action photos in some cases placed in contextually relevant areas. ..."

<Wg Cdr Singh, Bangalore>

"...... the book is great, the presentation and cover are truly international class, and the contents are rivetting to any historian, its a great job done !! ...."

<Mr. Sandhu ,  Mumbai>

"...... An excellent book. i had always wanted this kind of a book to be published......You have done a wonderful job, "THANK YOU". I will be looking forward to your next book on the 1971 war.  "

<Mr. Karim ,  BANGLADESH>

"...... I am writing to you from Bangladesh. I must compliment you for the excellent and very balanced account of the 1965 Air War in your book. I am in regular touch with a couple of " grand old warriors" Wing Commander Saiful Azam and Group Capt.Shaukat Islam. I have presented a copy each to these fine "old warriors". ......."

<Gp Capt Kapil Bhargava (Retd) , Bangalore>

"It looks impressive with extremely good research behind it. All the hard work done by you shows. I am sure your book will be a very valuable addition to IAF's history, especially since nothing useful has ever been published on our air wars so far."

<Ramesh from Mumbai>

"...... the authors have come out with an unbiased book almost forty years after the 1965 war which saw many instances of classic air combat from both sides. The authors have extensively interviwed many survivors and given credit where it is due - be it Indian or Pakistani. ........ HIghly recommended for all enthusiasts and serious historians of air warfare..........."

<J Heidel from GERMANY>

"After reading the foreword I'm hungry for more. For the first impression a nice piece of  work. I hope more will be published in the future."

<Sandesh  from Gujarat, India>

"I was reading Alfred Cooke's epic battle . very nicely written, very involving and exciting to read...made me feel as if I was there. excellent work!!."

<Harry B from Chennai, India>

"Very well written. Very detailed encounters with capabilties of related a/c being taken into consideration. .....Balanced perspective all the way. Credit where credit is due, always. The 8 pass-charlie section is very good.  For maximum enjoyment, you should'nt have discovered the BR 1965 war section. If you have'nt spent too much time there, then this book is a 100% absolute must buy, even if you are'nt aware of the existance of India (and pakistan) or aren't into this field."

<Krishna J from Bangalore, India>

"The authors have listed detailed notes , credits and cross references of all their sources in every chapter . the authors have expended tremendous leg work and effort to collate data over a five year period,  unlike many of the arm chair authors of   our times . IMHO is better than equivalent books on the Gulf and Falkland air wars and comparable to Tom Cooper's Iran Iraq Air war book and  Shlomo Aloni's Israeli air aces. Overall this is a book which is very readable and comprehensive and is  a must for both the historian and mil av enthusiast with its attention  to eyewitness detail and fast pace of action ? check it out , grab a  copy before it sells out !!"
