Accommodation: Two seat side-by-side seating in cockpit. Main cabin can carry up to four passengers. A bit larger and more refined than the Cheetah, with a fully faired fuselage structure.

Comments: Primarily in service in the training and light transport roles. The HAL Chetak is scheduled to be replaced by HAL's Advanced Light Helicopter. An option remains to re-engine the HAL Chetak with the Turbomeca TM 333-2B engine.
