new.gif (147 bytes)MiG-29 and a PAF F-16   The painting shows the MiG-29 in the markings sported during the 80s, meet an F-16 on its way down.  - Lohegaon AFS Mess
PAF F-16 and IAF Mirage 2000 H    An Indian Mirage crosses a Pakistani F-16 head on during a ‘what if’ visualization. Many Mirage pilots have chided me for putting the Mirage in a supposedly inferior position. This is not true. I have deliberately shown the Mirage on its way up with lots of energy and the F-16 coming down obviously having run out of energy. In any case the Mirage is being flown by an Indian pilot, so energy really doesn’t matter. Oil on canvas 3’X2’. Artist’s collection.
Painting-Polly20_small.jpg (14415 bytes) Mirage 2000TH attacking Tigerhill    24/25 June 1999, 0200 hrs. a 7 sqn Mirage 2000 releases the first ever night drop of an LGB (in anger), at dug in Pakistani troops on the top of Tiger hill in the kargil area. the attacks softened the target so that the Army could and later did, take the heights in a ferocious and punishing hand to hand battle later that day. The painting depicts the LGB going off in the bunkers while a snow covered K2 (in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) glistens in the background, to the right (east) of Tiger hill is Dras and further to the east outside the painting is Kargil itself. Nunkun (in India) is around '5' 0 clock to picture and K2 were beacons used by the pilots to run into tiger hill on a heading of approx 360 degrees.
