DISTINGUISHED SERVICE ORDER

The Distinguished Service Order (DSO) is awarded to military officers only; rewarding individual instances of meritorious or distinguished service in war. Normally given for service under fire or under conditions equivalent to service in actual combat with the enemy. The following list of 'Indian' DSO awardees is incomplete and additional citations will be featured as and when they are found.
