War Memorial at John Hall
A war memorial at the historic building site of John Hall, Gurgaon in Haryana. The memorial bears the names of 120 martyrs hailing from Gurgaon who laid down their lives in the 1962 Indo-China War, the 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak Wars, various other operations, including the most recent - Operation Vijay in Kargil. Situated in the middle of 700 square yards lawn of the John Hall, the memorial is made of red Agra stone & brown granite stone and stands on four pillars. The District Council had gifted the land to the District Sainik Board for building the War Memorial.
