A painting of a Sikh Sepoy on post at Fort Johnson in Nyasaland (South Africa) in 1896. This work of art is an excellent rendition of his kit and his Model 1867, .577 caliber, Snider-Enfield three-band infantry rifle with the Model 1853 bayonet.
